Shohei Ohtani agrees 700MILLION 10 year Los Angeles Dodgers deal

Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to a sensational ten-year deal worth $700 million.

Ohtani made the announcement on Instagram on Saturday and ESPN says the deal is worth $700 million over 10 years.

“To all Dodgers fans, I promise that I will always do what is best for the team and always give my all to be the best version of myself,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Until the last day of my career, I will continue to strive for progress, not only for the Dodgers but for the baseball world.”

Ohtani also addressed the Los Angeles Angels, the team he left.

“I would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone involved with the Angels organization and the fans who have supported me over the past six years, as well as everyone involved with every team that has been part of this negotiation process,” he said.

“Especially for the Angels fans who have supported me through all the ups and downs, the support and cheering from you guys meant the world to me.

“The six years I spent with the Angels will remain etched in my heart forever.”

Ohtani said he would discuss more thoughts on his blockbuster move at a later news conference.
