A teenager was tasered by police after a dramatic high-speed chase in a stolen car through the streets of Columbus, Ohio.
Body and dashcam footage released by police shows the intense chase as officers in their patrol car chased a total of three teenagers while driving around in a white SUV.
During the dramatic chase, officers followed the trio along highways and side streets through several neighborhoods. Incredibly, no one was injured during the chase.
The incident began early Thursday morning, just before 8 a.m., when officers responded to reports of gunfire in Dublin, a northwest suburb of Columbus.
Moments later, it was reported that a white SUV had been stolen from a Marathon gas station, with the connection between the two incidents quickly becoming apparent when police located the vehicle.
Dashcam footage shows two police cars spotting the stolen car – but as officers sprang into action, the suspects noticed the pursuit, sparking a high-speed chase through the city’s busy streets.
Two minutes into the chase, the stolen vehicle collided with oncoming traffic, including a bike lane, before the SUV shot through a parking lot and turned onto a side street in a dangerous game of cat and mouse.
Ultimately, the driver, a young man, abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot to nearby train tracks.

Officers quickly followed, with CCTV footage showing them searching the area before apprehending the suspect.
While officers arrested the first suspect, another juvenile in the stolen car took the opportunity to take control of the vehicle and drive away.
Police cruisers resumed the pursuit and followed the car as it briefly entered Interstate 71 South, weaving through traffic at high speed before turning back onto residential streets.
The chase ended after a dramatic crash where the vehicle struck an electrical construction sign.
A second young man got out of the wrecked car and tried to flee on foot.

The chase through a nearby construction site escalated further, with an officer drawing his stun gun and ordering the suspect to drop a possible weapon.
Moments later, another officer arrives on the scene and pulls out a Taser, causing the suspect to fall to the ground so police can handcuff him.

Columbus police have not released any additional details about the juveniles or any potential charges they could face.
