Shocking video reveals moment three gunmen ambush vehicle on NYC street, killing 28-year-old woman just hours after she took her young son ice skating
Security footage captured the shocking moment a 28-year-old woman and mother of a four-year-old was ambushed and shot dead by three gunmen in Queens on Tuesday evening.
Authorities identified the woman as Clarisa Burgos and said she died after being shot once in the head, hours after taking her son out for a fun evening.
Surveillance footage showed two men wearing hoodies walking along Liberty Avenue near 127th Street, while a third man walked back and forth next to them.
All three men eventually approached Burgos' car and fired several shots at her and an unknown 39-year-old man, police said. PIX11 news.
The driver tries to press the accelerator and get away, while one of the suspects runs in front of the vehicle and shoots at the pair again.

A man told it CBS News he heard about 20 shots and that it sounded like a 'semi-automatic' gun.
The unknown man had driven her to the 103rd precinct station in Queens after being shot six times himself.
Now Burgos' family, who leaves behind a four-year-old son, is desperate for answers.
“We want to know what the hell happened,” her aunt Clover Gallart said Gothamist at the family's apartment in Brooklyn.
'Why? Why is there still a child without its mother?' asked Gallart, who said she and her sister Sonia raised Burgos.
Burgos' sister Julia said she didn't know where her sister went that night or who she was with when she left her son after taking him for a movie, ice skating and pizza Tuesday night.
“She wanted her son to have the world,” Julia said. 'Zoos, aquariums, parks, everywhere. Everything he wanted to do. He had every bike that was outside.”

A woman was killed and a man shot six times drove her to a police station in Queens to seek help.
Clarisa Burgos, 28, was shot once in the head and pronounced dead outside the police station. The fatal shooting occurred near the corner of 127 Street and Liberty Avenue in the Richmond Hill neighborhood
“She was so full of life and looking forward to getting older,” Gallart added.
The driver was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was in stable condition.
Police are now investigating the shooting and working to identify suspects.
Multiple gunmen reportedly opened fire on the car, wounding the driver, who then sped to a nearby NYPD station in a failed attempt to rescue the fatally wounded woman in his passenger seat.
The injured man stopped at the 103 Precinct Station House in Queens shortly before midnight Tuesday evening and alerted officers to the harrowing incident, police said Wednesday.
Officers recovered 16 shell casings, both .45 caliber and 9mm, from the crime scene.
The injured driver has 29 arrests to his name, according to police.
Police are still searching for the suspects and say they are looking for two to three men in dark clothing who are believed to have fled in a dark-colored sedan.

The motive for the shooting is still under investigation. No arrests have been made.
According to recent NYPD statistics, the 106th Precinct, where the shooting occurred, has only seen one homicide this year. The number of shootings has also reportedly dropped by more than 66 percent this year.
