Baffling text messages have revealed a 44-year-old actress’ alleged gold-digging scheme to make a wealthy Vegas NHL mogul her boyfriend so she can drain his bank account.
Jennifer Courtemanche, 44, is accused of stealing nearly $445,000 from her ex-boyfriend, businessman Gavin Maloof.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department detectives discovered the text messages during an investigation into threatening messages and photos received by Maloof, co-owner of the Vegas Knights hockey team.
The shocking text messages, exchanged between Courtemanche and her friend Brittany Burgess, date back to 2017.
“OMG THIS IS IT, he FINALLY broke up with his bitch and wants me to get out, I’m not going to let anyone hold me back or anything, this is my chance for BOTH of us.”

‘This has to be done.’
“I have been so sad and poor.”
Adding: ‘…we should get the life we always deserved, no more struggling, no more misery in mental hospitals, etc. lol’
Police said Burgess responded, “…we need a plan.”
“We’ve been friends for so long that I can’t remember which of us is the bad influence,” Courtemanche allegedly texted.
Her IMDb profile includes small roles in TV series including You, The Vampire Diaries, Two and a Half Men, Gossip Girl and 90210.
Maloof’s wealthy family is known for its appearances on reality TV.
His sister Adrienne Maloof starred in the show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Adrienne was married to plastic surgeon Paul Nassif, who appeared on another reality TV show, Botched, before the couple divorced in 2012.
The businessman reported threatening messages and photos he had received to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, who traced the number to Courtemanche.
According to police records, LVMP, with the help of the Los Angeles Police Department, went to the Sag-AFTRA actress’ home in May with a search warrant to seize her electronic devices.
The alleged scam then unraveled when police revealed how Courtemanche accessed Maloof’s mobile phone and sent money from Maloof’s account to hers via Apple Cash payments.
