Shocking reason woman ‘sliced off husband’s penis’
A woman in Brazil has been arrested after cutting off her husband’s penis because he could not remain aroused during a sexual encounter.
The 48-year-old woman told police she cut off the 58-year-old man’s penis after he failed to get an erection during sex at their home in Cacoal, a town in the northern state of Rondônia.
The woman told Rondônia military police that she and her husband had been drinking all afternoon before she cut off his manhood.
When she noticed that he could not maintain an erection, the woman went to the kitchen, grabbed a large knife and cut off his limb.
Authorities in the northern Brazilian state of Rondônia arrested a 48-year-old woman on Sunday after she cut off her 58-year-old husband’s penis because he didn’t have an erection when they had sex in their home. Officers seized a kitchen knife in the process.
The man ran out of his house and was chased throughout the neighborhood.
The pair broke into the neighbours’ house before the Rondônia fire brigade arrived.
Emergency services rushed him to a hospital in the Cacoal area, where he was treated.
According to Brazilian news outlet G1, the man’s penis was not amputated, the medical institution reported.
The woman was placed in custody as part of the investigation.
In May, a court in the Brazilian city of Atibaia sentenced Daine dos Santos to four years and eight months in prison for cutting the penis of her 39-year-old husband, Gilberto de Oliveira, and flushing it down the toilet.
The 34-year-old mother of three, who has a daughter with de Oliveira, faced a maximum prison sentence of 30 years for attempted murder.

Dos Santos walked in on Oliveira having sex with her 15-year-old niece on her birthday on December 12, 2023, and then began plotting how to cut off his limb.
Ten days later, Dos Santos carried out her plan. She tied De Oliveira’s hands to the headboard while they had sex and cut off his penis with a razor.
She took a photo of the severed genitals and shared it on the family’s WhatsApp chat, then fast-forwarded the photo.
In a strange twist, De Oliveira sent his dos Santos a letter asking for forgiveness and a second chance.
“It was all my fault,” de Oliveira said in a court statement on the day of dos Santos’ sentencing. “I couldn’t cheat on my wife with my niece. She didn’t deserve that.”
