Shocking moment when off-duty cop brutally assaults his 72-year-old neighbor after he accidentally hit the cop’s paddleboard with his car

This is the shocking moment when an off-duty police officer brutally assaults his 72-year-old neighbor after accidentally hitting the cop’s paddleboard with his car.
Victim Harry Horsley was attacked on Monday, July 24 by his neighbor Scott Saunders, 36, an 18-year veteran of the Hull Police Department, in Massachusetts.
Horsley said he was bloodied and bruised from the altercation, which another neighbor of theirs videotaped.
In the cell phone video, Horsley can be seen on the ground with the police sergeant on top holding him down.
Horsley said Boston 25 News that the attack started when he had been driving it and Saunders hit his car with a paddleboard he was carrying.

The shocking video shows Horsley clearly struggling and trying to throw Saunders off by kicking his legs.
When Saunders finally gets off Horsley, the older man gets a red face as he backs away from the police officer.
The 72-year-old told the outlet he got out of his car and asked him, “Why did you hit my car?” That’s all I said.’
Horsley said that before he knew it he was pushed to the ground and beaten by Saunders.
He continued, “He pushed me to the ground with a bull. Landed on top of me, I’m on my back.
“He pounded away, I’m like this and trying to protect myself from more blows.
“Here I am, 72 years old. I shouldn’t take a beating from anyone, let alone a police sergeant.”
Pembroke Police have since charged Saunders with assault and battery following the attack, which led to Horsley presenting himself at a local hospital.
According to a police report, Horsley had a cut on the left side of his face, a nosebleed, swelling and bruising around one eye, and other injuries.

Horsley continued, “He should have known everything he’s done was wrong. You don’t attack someone who is a senior. You just don’t do it, it’s unheard of.’
Since being charged, Saunders has been on paid administrative leave and his badge and service weapon have been taken from him.
Hull Police have launched an internal affairs investigation and notified the Massachusetts Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission.
