A motorcyclist and the driver of a Tesla were filmed in a fistfight during a traffic accident in the middle of a street in Pasadena.

Video captured by video blogger Charlie Salinas shows how a verbal dispute escalated into a full-blown fight, leading to the two men wrestling on the sidewalk.

The incident occurred May 19 at the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue and Holly Street in Pasadena, northeast of downtown Los Angeles.

It comes to a close when a woman, who the Tesla driver claims is his mother, yells at the couple and a motorcycle cop with a taser drawn demands that they sit on the sidewalk.

On the morning of May 19, a fight broke out between a motorcyclist and a Tesla driver in the middle of Fair Oaks Avenue in Pasadena.

When the video began, the two motorists were standing still – the Tesla driver was traveling in the northbound right lane of Fair Oaks Avenue as if preparing to turn right and the motorcyclist had cut off his path and was stopped right in front of him.

The motorcyclist put down the kickstand of his motorcycle, got off the bike and walked to the driver’s side of the Tesla, where he attacked the driver through an open window.

Almost immediately, the Tesla driver opened the door and the pair faced each other.

The biker was hard to make out because he was still wearing a helmet, but the driver said, “Come here, b***h, I ain’t afraid of shit. You’re the one with your helmet on.’

At that point, the motorcyclist looked like he was walking back to his bike, but stopped at the driver’s door and started talking to someone in the car, who the driver later said was his mother.

The driver then pushed the motorcyclist hard and a physical confrontation ensued.

Within about 15 seconds, the biker’s helmet fell to the ground and the two struggled on the sidewalk for about a minute before the woman and Salinas approached the couple and began telling them to stop fighting.

A police siren then rang and a motorcycle cop appeared with his taser drawn and the two disengaged.

“You hit me first,” said the motorcyclist, as the driver put on his left shoe, which had fallen off during the fight.

The officer ordered the pair to sit on the curb, after which the motorcyclist said, “It’s on the Tesla camera,” presumably referring to a recording of the incident that led to the fight.

“His wife saw it,” said the motorcyclist.

“That’s not my wife, that’s my mom you harassed,” the driver said before the video ended.

Salinas said in a subsequent video he posted to social media that he emailed his footage to the Pasadena Police Department as requested.

“It’s pretty scary,” he said KTLA. “If someone is driving, if they are confronted, I think you shouldn’t get out of the vehicle at all. It doesn’t matter if you are right or wrong. Just call 911.”
