Shocking moment road rage incident turns deadly as suspect in Dodge Durango opens fire at driver of gold Cadillac and kills him

This is the horrific moment a Dodge Durango driver mercilessly killed a Cadillac driver in a fit of road rage.

The Durango driver is seen running across the road northbound 5 Freeway in Los Angeles, near South Lorena Street in the Boyle Heights neighborhood, with a gun in hand.

The gold Cadillac is seen with its rear fender off as the driver attempts to make a three-point turn, apparently against traffic and away from the shooter.

But before the driver can escape, the gunman fires eight bullets through the door, which was open while the car was moving.

The gunman is then seen fleeing the scene before falling over and crashing into a car with several other people.

Shocking dashcam footage of the deadly incident, which seriously injured another person, showed the Dodge driver, who has not yet been identified, running along the open highway with a gun in hand.

The police are still investigating the shock murder

Lieutenant Bob Purvis said following the incident, which took place last Thursday: ‘The occupants of the Dodge Durango got out and began shooting at the occupants of the gold Cadillac.

“The gold Cadillac driver was able to make a U-turn and head back south via the northbound lanes.”

The shooting caused a miles-long standstill on LA’s already busy freeways.

Authorities were forced to close the highway until at least Friday for investigations.

A white sheet was seen covering the gold Cadillac.

Little is known about the identities of those involved in the shooting. Police identified the dead man only as someone in his 20s and said they were still pursuing the two suspects involved in the deadly incident.

Police have still not released a description of the killer or revealed a motivation for the killing, and have urged anyone with more information or dashcam footage to come forward.
