Shocking Moment Pro-Palestine Heckler Interrupts Nancy Pelosi’s Speech

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s speech at Britain’s Oxford Union was interrupted by some pro-Palestinian protesters, days after she said such protests have a “Russian flavor.”

The California Democrat delivered a speech to the Oxford debating society as protesters walked right in front of her stage, silently holding up Palestinian flags until they were escorted out by security.

Outside the building, about 250 demonstrators chanted “liberate Palestine” and “end the genocide.” The group was led by Youth Demand, which released a statement calling Pelosi a “warmonger.”

“BREAKING: THE QUESTION OF YOUTH DISRUPT GENOCIDE SUPPORT (Pelosi) AT OXFORD UNIVERSITY,” the group wrote on X.

“War mongers like Nancy Pelosi are not welcome on college campuses,” the group said in a statement. ‘If children are being murdered and hospitals are being bombed, we will not sit idly by while these people are given a platform. We need to stand up and take action because we are out of (expletive).”

The ex-chairman and longtime Democratic leader gave a gift as part of the Benazir Bhutto Memorial. Bhutto was the first woman to become prime minister of a Muslim country when she was chosen to lead Pakistan in the late 1980s and mid-1990s. She was killed in 2007 when a gunman opened fire and detonated a suicide bomb at a political rally.

“It’s in Putin’s interest that ‘What’s His Name’ wins, and that’s why I see some encouragement from the Russians,” said Pelosi, who typically avoids mentioning Donald Trump by name.

She defended President Biden’s response to the outbreak of war between Israel and Hamas. “(Biden) is now calling for a ceasefire. Whoever is opposing the ceasefire right now is Hamas,” Pelosi said.

She complained that protesters had shown up outside her home “at three in the morning” with signs reading “Genocide Joe.” “I trust the sincerity of many of the protesters,” Pelosi continued. ‘It’s organic, it’s spontaneous, it’s real. But some of it, I think, has a Russian flavor.”

Raucous pro-Gaza camps and demonstrations have broken out at universities across the US this week.
