The shocking moment motorcyclist is thrown into the air in Berowra Water after running head-on into a road on a narrow road
Shocking footage has emerged of a harrowing head-on collision on a narrow, winding road which sent a motorbike flying into the air.
The terrifying crash between the motorcycle and a Uterine happened near Berowra Waters, in Sydney’s north, at around 8.36am on Sunday, October 8.
Dashcam footage recorded by a vehicle traveling behind the ute captured the crash on a back road between Berowra Heights and Berowra Waters.
As the driver of a white Ford Ranger ute approaches a sharp bend going up a hill, an oncoming motorcyclist is suddenly seen coming out of a blind corner.
The ute suddenly stops, its brake lights visible in the camera footage, as the motorcyclist momentarily disappears from view.
Moments later the rider is seen flying through the air and landing heavily on the side of the road after the nasty crash.
The driver’s engine also breaks down on the side of the road.
The motorcyclist appeared to be unresponsive and was seen lying face down on the road wearing dark clothing and a white helmet.
Two male occupants of the vehicle, including the driver, get out of the ditch, visibly shaken by the incident.
The pair, along with another woman seen wearing a dark green top and black pants, rush towards the rider, who remains motionless on the ground.

The rider is believed to have suffered several broken bones and a dislocated shoulder.
The male driver checks the welfare of the motorcyclist.
He is then seen raising his arms in disbelief at the woman approaching the stage before the video ends.
Footage of the disturbing incident uploaded to the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page was inundated with hundreds of comments from users.
“I hope both rider and driver have a speedy recovery (injury and concussion). Thank God the rider didn’t go overboard.’ one user wrote.
“I hope the rider makes a full recovery,” said another.
‘Oh!’ wrote a third.
Others, however, said the motorcyclist should have been more aware when approaching the bend on the narrow road.

“I feel like the rider should have been more careful, the car was completely stuck to the left, the bike was not at all…” said one user.
“Bike rider learned his lesson the hard way,” wrote another.
“The old fellow should be thankful he didn’t go the other way.”
Daily Mail Australia contacted NSW Police for comment.
