Video shows state police pulling Santana to the side of a Springfield street.

He shoots the officer multiple times as he tries to flee before emerging from the side of his vehicle to pursue him on foot.
Surveillance camera footage shows Chapman-Green running for his life as Santana continues to fire a volley of bullets.
Despite being hit multiple times in the legs, the officer chased Santana to a parking lot where he was pistol-whipped. New York Post reports.
Eventually, the suspect returns to his car and jumps back in before driving away, as an injured Chapman-Green staggers back into view.
Santana was eventually apprehended by police at 1:58 a.m. the next day after a high-speed chase.
