This is the shocking moment when an LA bus driver stole the wallet of an 86-year-old woman lying on the floor after another man knocked her unconscious.
The incident took place at around 2:40 p.m. on August 8 in the Adams-Normandie district in the south of the city.
The images from a metrobus surveillance camera showed that several people stood around the victim and did nothing.
Suddenly, a man steals her wallet from the bag of the unconscious, incapacitated woman.
Several people tried to intervene, but could not stop the man from getting away.

Patrol officers were eventually called to the scene, where the woman was “seriously injured” by the initial attack, according to the LAPD.
One of the suspects – the man who initially assaulted the woman – was taken into custody shortly after Southwest police officers were referred to him.
Firefighters and paramedics eventually arrived on the scene to care for the victim, who was sent to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
She eventually woke up but could not remember what happened to her or the attack due to a head injury.
The man who robbed the victim is still on the run, having fled from the crime scene with her wallet.

The incident occurred around 2:40 p.m. on August 8 in the Adams-Normandie neighborhood of South Los Angeles.
The suspect was wearing a New York Yankees jacket, dark beanie, dark pants and gray shoes.
He was believed to be in his forties or fifties and has a mustache or goatee. The victim and the first suspect who committed the assault have not been identified.
