Shocking moment college cheerleader kicks Oklahoma player in the head

An Auburn cheerleader gave an Oklahoma football player a warm welcome as the Tigers hosted the Sooners on Saturday afternoon.

As the Oklahoma squad took to the field at Jordan-Hare Stadium, the Auburn cheer squad continued with their usual routine.

However, because a member of the acrobatic cheer team was in the middle of a series of somersaults, he got into the route of the Sooners’ rush and knocked down one of the visiting players with his momentum.

“One of our cheerleaders just destroyed an Oklahoma with a wild crouching tiger hidden dragon move,” joked the user who posted the video.

The cheerleader and one of his teammates quickly helped the football player to his feet. Another Sooners player also helped his teammate up before they headed back to join the team.

“Back handspring, full twist, Back handspring, Back handspring, Back handspring, collision,” said another in the comments.

“Best defense in a long time at Auburn,” a third added.

A fourth joked, “How much did he get paid by Auburn boosters to sneak out an OU player? $10,000?”

The 21st-ranked Sooners entered the highly anticipated showdown with a 3-1 record. Oklahoma started their season with consecutive wins over Temple, Houston and Tulane before losing to Tennessee in their final outing.

On the other hand, the 2-2 Tigers scored dominant wins over Alabama A&M and New Mexico and losses to California and Arkansas.
