This is the shocking moment a group of British ‘stag do’ tourists got into a fight outside a Mallorca restaurant, resulting in eight arrests.
The violent incident involving the British partygoers took place around 7.30pm yesterday at the Balneario Illetas beach club restaurant in Calvia, the municipality where party resort Magaluf is located.
City Hall chiefs said a waiter was injured after being hit in the head and two police officers were also injured during the violent scenes that saw dozens of waiters and holidaymakers fighting each other on a beach outside the site.
They said they would take tough action against people who “endanger the safety of the community.”
Footage has emerged of the incident that led to the arrest of the British partygoers, showing the violent scuffle after it ended up on a Majorcan beach.

In the video, the waiters, dressed in white polo shirts, can be seen trying to separate the fighters – many of whom are in bikinis and swim shorts.
A woman in a bikini – as well as one of the guards – was knocked to the ground during the scuffle.
One man in swimming trunks appeared to have been punched or kicked from behind.
Women could be heard shouting ‘Stop’ and an onlooker said: ‘I just can’t believe it.’ Other bystanders watched from the restaurant and filmed the fight with their phones.
A second clip, which shows a different angle of the fight, shows one man punching another in the face, knocking him to the ground and leaving spectators gasping.
A woman behind a camera can be heard calling the men ‘f***ing guiris’ – a term used in Spain to refer to rowdy tourists, especially those from Britain and Germany.
As one of the women involved in the fight falls over and appears to trip over her own feet, another woman says, “Look at that, she can’t even walk,” as a man is heard calling them “drunks.” ‘. “How embarrassing,” they add.
It was not immediately clear from the clip who was fighting whom. Some partygoers could be seen punching and kicking each other and staff.
One group – believed to be the British involved in the fight – was later photographed in handcuffs on a staircase at the beach club before being taken away by police.
A spokesperson for the municipality called on ‘tourists like this’ to go elsewhere.

Commenting on last night’s events, Calvia Council said: ‘A mass fight at the Balneario Illetas restaurant on Wednesday led to the arrest of eight English men aged around 30.’
“A waiter was injured after being hit on the head and two police officers were also injured and are awaiting medical examination.”
The British tourists are said to have been on a stag holiday and staying at a hotel in the Son Armadams area after traveling from the island capital Palma.
The men reportedly started throwing rubbish and cans of lager into the sea, annoying other customers and sunbathers on the beach.
According to the Mallorca Daily Bulletinthe fight broke out after a waiter asked them to stop, leading to clashes with staff and other beachgoers.
‘The reaction of the group, who appeared to have been drinking excessively, was extremely violent. They attacked the staff and confronted the police.”
According to a local news channel Diario de Mallorcasix local police units arrived on the scene. But instead of calming down, the newspaper said that “the tourists did not change their attitude and violently confronted the officers.”
Officials at the local Consistory said they had rarely seen such a violent reaction from detainees, who – they said – tried to flee after being cornered by officers.
Diario reported that the eight Britons spent the night at the local police headquarters of Calvià and would be transferred to the Guardia Civil.
The outlet also noted that the waiter who was injured during the fight was knocked unconscious after being “hit in the head.”
The council said seven restaurant customers and sunbathers have already filed charges against the violent British tourists.
The brawl comes just days after 15,000 Mallorcans took to the streets to protest against tourists and the disruption they cause in the area.

Calvia’s deputy mayor Esperanza Catala said this morning: ‘Make no mistake, we are going to deal rigidly with these types of people who we don’t want in Calvia and we won’t let them get away with anything.’
‘We will not allow anyone to come here who will endanger the safety of our municipality and damage our image. They should take it into account and go somewhere else if they don’t know how to behave,” she added.
The brawl in Mallorca comes amid ongoing protests against tourism on the island, as locals try to control disruptions caused by holidaymakers.
On Saturday, around 15,000 people took to the streets of Palma to show their dissatisfaction with tourism. Locals were seen holding signs with slogans such as ‘tourists go home’ and some even harassed foreign holidaymakers as they enjoyed their evening meals.
