Shocking moment baby is found alone in diaper while parents went to Miami strip club
A baby girl was found outside in only her diaper while her parents went to a strip club in Miami.
The two-year-old was found wandering alone near a building in South Beach around midnight on Thursday by security guards.
Miami Beach Police officers quickly arrived on the scene and found the infant barefoot, holding a baby bottle and wearing only a T-shirt and diaper.
After authorities tried to determine where the baby came from, they discovered that her parents, Daryl Lamont Lentz, 40, and Ciera Hurd, 36, had left behind three other children, who were found sleeping in a room.
The parents told CBS News They brought their family from Maryland to Florida to celebrate Lentz’s birthday.
After about four and a half hours at Club Madonna, police tracked down the parents and arrested them for abandoning the toddler and their other children, ages 12, 11 and 5.

The moment the baby was found was captured on police bodycam footage. Officers opened a gate attached to the building and found the toddler.
One of the officers, Brandon Miller, crouched down and asked the child, “Are you OK, Mommy?”
The girl crawled closer to him and he stretched out his arms.
He then asked the girl where her mother was, as the baby looked at him with the bottle in her arm.
The officers then asked the guards what they saw when they found the abandoned child. One of them said she was grabbing the fence as if trying to get away.

They soon discovered an open door on the third floor of the apartment building and found the parents’ three other children sleeping there.
Shortly after Miami Beach police found the children, they posted a heartwarming photo on Instagram of Officer Miller holding the two-year-old.
“As investigators attempted to locate the parents, Officer Miller’s nurturing instincts kicked in. He attentively comforted the child and ultimately lulled her to sleep,” the department said.
Lentz said that before he and Hurd went to the nightclub, where they “partied with employees,” he told their oldest son to lock the door behind him.
According to police, the father claimed the children were left alone for only 30 minutes.
After abandoning their children, the couple (pictured) said they regret their decision.

“Yeah, we’ll never do that again,” Hurd said.
Both were arrested and taken to jail but later released, records show. They each face four felony charges.
All of their children have been transferred to the Department of Children and Families, as Lentz and Hurd have vowed to fight to regain custody.
A judge is currently allowing them to have contact with their children, but they will remain in custody until their next hearing on Tuesday, the outlet reported.
