Shocking moment when 63-year-old man is brutally assaulted at Florida movie theater after asking couple to get out of pre-booked VIP seat

This is the shocking moment when a 63-year-old Florida man is brutally attacked at a movie theater after asking a couple to vacate his pre-booked VIP seat.
Horrifying footage showed the victim being pounced on by the suspect before being repeatedly punched during the vicious attack in Pompano Beach.
In the video, the elderly white man and his wife can be seen approaching the attacker, politely asking them to move, and then being violently assaulted as he tried to escape.
Police said they have launched a hunt for the perpetrator, who is black, and have released a security image of him following the event at 10 p.m. on July 10.

According to a Edition of the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the unidentified man began “aggressively getting in the victim’s face.”
The aggressor got so close to the victim that he had to step back and eventually landed on the steps in the theater’s aisle as a trailer for the new Mission Impossible episode plays on screen.
Video footage of the incident shows the assailant moving towards the victim and finally pushing him against a railing.
At one point, the victim loses his balance and tumbles down the aisle stairs.

Cameras also captured an image of the attacker’s female companion
The assailant, who appears to be black, then stands over the man and continues to throw punches at his head and face, only stopping when witnesses pull him off.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with several injuries to his head and face.
The perpetrator and his suspected date left the cinema and, according to images, quickly left the complex.
While the attacker’s face is clearly visible on camera, authorities have yet to apprehend a suspect and are asking the public with information about the man’s identity to contact the sheriff’s office at 954-601-5905.
