Shocking legal twist in case of California serial road rage Tesla driver Nathaniel Radimak

A California man known as the “Tesla road rage guy,” who was sentenced to five years in prison last year for a series of road rage incidents that left many female drivers terrified, will be released from prison today.

Nathaniel Walter Radimak, 36, was sentenced to five years in prison in January 2023, but a shocking report reveals Radimak is on probation.

A court awarded him 424 days of deduction from his sentence for the time he had spent awaiting his sentence, ABC 7 News previously reported.

Radimak, who drove a black Tesla, used a metal pipe to smash his victims’ cars during the unprovoked attacks that took place between 2022 and 2023.

He was found guilty of criminal threats, vandalism, assault and elder abuse.

According to the Public Prosecution Service, he had previously been arrested for road rage, during which steroids and more than $30,000 in cash were found in his car.

When he was sentenced, the earliest possible date for Radimak’s release was July 2025, but the decision was made without consultation with victims, a report by MSN.

At least 10 of the women from various cities in LA County were victimized by Radimak while driving. Two of the victims were unaware of his conviction at the time, the news outlet reported.

Radimak was sent to prison in October 2023 and was being held at the Sierra Conservation Center, state prison records show, MSN reports.

According to court documents, 424 days of jail time were credited against the sentence he had already served and was awaiting sentencing, 212 days of actual jail time and an additional 212 days for good behavior.

On Wednesday afternoon, attorney Gloria Allred held a press conference with three victims and gave their reactions to Radimak’s early release from prison.

“His early release has shocked and disappointed many of the victims I represent,” she said.

“They are also concerned that the notice they received about his release came from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and that on the form sent to them, under ‘Proposed Community for Prisoner Release,’ it said ‘Unknown.’”

‘Many victims are ‘terrified that Mr Radimak will take revenge on them.’

She also said that many victims were never consulted about the settlement and were never given the opportunity to speak at the sentencing, as they are allowed to do under Marsy’s Law.

One of the victims, identified as Jane Doe, called the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office and said he had “failed many of Nathaniel Radimak’s victims.”

“He plays a vital role in prosecuting crimes and ensuring that offenders are held accountable for their actions, but this has not happened,” she said.

“Our constitutional rights were violated and not upheld by the DA’s office. He did not properly represent our rights.

She added: “Let us hold the prosecution accountable in November for its failure to protect victims like us.”

DailyMail.com reached out to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office for more details about Radimak’s release.

Video footage shows Radimak repeatedly swinging his baton and hitting a Chevy pickup truck with a pipe attached to it in the southbound lanes of Highway 2 near York Boulevard in Glendale during one of the violent attacks in January 2023.

The Chevy driver captured the disturbing incident on his cell phone. Radimak can also be seen returning to his charcoal-colored 2022 Tesla Model X, with no license plates, and driving away from the scene.

Allred said before the press conference that she had “a message for Mr. Radimak.”

‘Even though you have been released on parole, one of the conditions of your parole is that you must obey all laws.

‘If you break the law and threaten someone or damage their property (or both), your parole may be revoked and you may be sentenced to a prison term equal to the remaining time on your original sentence.’

‘If you haven’t learned the lesson you learned from your time in custody, another judge will teach you the lesson you should have learned from your time there.

“Any violations of the law involving my clients will be reported and you will be held accountable. Consider yourself warned. We will not be intimidated by you and we will not be deterred from seeking justice.”
