Shock poll reveals leader in 2024 race with just 12 days to go

Donald Trump has taken a shocking lead over Kamala Harris in a poll released just 12 days before the election.

Harris still has the narrowest lead in the polling averages Really clear polls shows her with just 0.2% and FiveThirtyEight with just 1.8%.

A Wall Street Journal poll now shows Trump with a 47% to 45% lead over Harris, a complete reversal from Harris’ two-point lead in their most recent survey in August.

Another three percent of voters remain undecided, while two percent are holding out for Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who long ago dropped out of the race to support Trump.

Harris has seen her positive ratings drop since the last poll. In August, an equal number of people had positive and negative views of her, but now unfavorable views dominate positive ones, 53% to 45%.

Harris has seen her positive ratings drop since the last poll. In August, an equal number of people had positive and negative views of her, but now unfavorable views dominate positive ones: 53% to 45%

Only 42% approve of Harris’ job as vice president, while 54% disapprove, the worst performance in history. WSJs three surveys since she started running.

Trump, on the other hand, has completely reversed his perception, with 52% approving of his presidency and 48% disapproving.

More voters view Trump’s economic plans positively than negatively, while the opposite is true for Harris.

Trump is seen as the most trusted candidate on immigration, the economy, inflation and Israel’s war against Hamas.

Harris is only favored on issues such as abortion and Social Security and Medicare protections.

Perhaps the only positives for the vice president were that more voters – 49%-39% – saw Trump as “too extreme” and more – 48%-43% – saw Trump as a danger to the country.

It comes after a day when the candidates began delivering their closing arguments to the nation.

Her performance was almost immediately panned by Democratic strategist David Axelrod, who went on to say on CNN that several answers referred to her as “word salad city.”

CNN’s Anderson Cooper had Harris explain the news of the day — that Trump’s former chief of staff John Kelly said the Republican candidate fit the mold of a fascist, and asked the Democratic candidate if she agreed with that too.

“Yes, I do,” she replied. ‘Yes, I do. And I also believe that the people who know him best in this area can be trusted.’

She was less direct when Cooper asked Harris if she wanted to “build a wall,” as she spoke in support of a bipartisan immigration bill that included funding for the wall.

As the results were announced, Trump — who earlier that evening called Kelly a “degenerate” and a “lowlife” — was pleading his case to his supporters in Duluth, Georgia.

Trump campaigned in the Bible Belt and was asked about his faith at a town hall in Georgia.

“How do you lean on your faith and your family to deal with this? Because I don’t think anyone else could have done it the way you have done over the last 10 years,” Georgia Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones asked Trump after saying he had been “maligned” in the media.

“If you have faith, if you believe in God, that’s a great advantage over people who don’t,” said Trump, who has spoken more about religion since surviving an assassination attempt.

Then he quickly turned to his favorite targets.

“These thugs came after me at a level called election interference. It’s called arming the FBI, the DOJ, they all came in, and we’re going to turn things around in this country because it’s so bad that they don’t do that except in third world countries,” Trump said.

“And think of the villains in power now. It didn’t happen to them.’

Trump brought Tucker Carlson on stage at an event Wednesday night, when the former Fox News host compared the ex-president to a “pissed off dad.”

Then the crowd erupted in a “Daddy’s home” chant as the president took the stage.

Carlson told a wild crowd in Georgia on Wednesday night that Donald Trump’s return to the White House would be like a father returning home to deliver a “strong beating.”

‘There has to be a time when daddy comes home. Yes, that’s right. Dad comes home. And he is angry. Dad is angry,” Carlson, the former Fox News host, said at a Turning Point USA event where Trump also spoke.

Harris received more bad news on Wednesday, when it was revealed that billionaire Warren Buffett has announced he will not support her or Trump for president in 2024.

The 94-year-old CEO of Berkshire Hathaway – who is worth an estimated $146.3 billion – has recently endorsed Democratic candidates.

But a memo from Sage of Omaha’s firm released Wednesday said he would not take a position in the election and that any other suggestion would be “fraudulent.”
