Shock new Strictly Come Dancing contestant becomes the bookies’ favourite to LEAVE on Musical Week
Nigel Harman has become the bookmakers' favorite to leave Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.
The Casualty actor, 50, is currently taking part in the BBC Latin and ballroom show alongside professional partner Katya Jones, but the odds of him surviving Saturday's show are against him, according to Ladbrokes.
Nigel and Katya will perform a Charleston to Step in Time from Disney's Mary Poppins.
The betting company has determined that his odds of being sent home in the next round currently stand at 5/4, with EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier next at odds of 7/4.
Following them are tennis legend Annabel Croft and her partner Johannes Radebe – whose odds of exit are 9/2 – while West End star Layton Williams' odds of being eliminated along with Nikita Kuzmin currently stand at 7/1.

Her co-stars are way ahead of former Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach (who works with Vito Coppola) and she is still the most likely to stay in the competition.
Her odds of leaving the show currently stand at 33/1, meaning she is the favorite to make it to the semi-finals.
Ladbrokes' Alex Apati said of Nigel's odds: 'He once led the Strictly betting, but the odds suggest Nigel Harman will leave the competition this weekend.'
Early in the series, Nigel was named as the favorite to win the dancing competition, but the pair didn't quite manage to impress the judges with their Rumba to Celine Dion classic It's All Coming Back to Me Now.
The pair landed in second-to-last place with a score of 33, just ahead of eventual evictions Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu, who received a score of just 31 for their Cha Cha to I Will Survive.
The opportunities come just one day after Nigel and Katya appeared on Steph's Packed Lunch. where professional dancer, 34, chatted about this week's musical performance.
Nigel blushed as Katya and Steph praised his exceptional dance moves, which they said showcased the style of veteran Anton Du Beke.
She then explained that while she appreciated his elegance, she had been on a mission to “dirty” his dance moves ahead of their Mary Poppins performance.

Katya said: 'He has the poise and grace in his movements. He always makes, even the rumba, which can be quite difficult for male celebrities.'
She added, “It looks so effortless and natural, so you either have it or you don't, and he definitely has it.”
“But we tried to deconstruct him this week and I say 'NO'.”
The twinkling star then asked Nigel, married to actress Lucy Liemann, to do an impression of his chimney sweep from Mary Poppins.
Nigel intervened and said: 'Actually I've been told I'm not dirty enough. I'm not dirty enough for this dance, so I try to make it dirty.
