The shocking results show Harris is still gaining popularity after President Joe Biden announced he will not run.

Kamala Harris has leapfrogged Donald Trump in the two weeks since she announced her entry into the presidential race.

But that 4 percentage point lead over the former president increases to 6 percent when likely voters are taken into account.

The poll was conducted from July 24 to Aug. 1, meaning the results do not include opinions on Harris’ new running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who joined her campaign on Tuesday.

The results also show that Harris did not necessarily give Democrats a greater chance of victory in November.

When registered voters were asked who they would vote for if Joe Biden remained in the race, 43 percent said the president, while 47 percent said Trump and another 11 percent said they didn’t know.

Both Harris and Biden have a 4 percentage point lead over Trump among registered voters in this poll.

Mumbling Biden, 81, predicts what Trump will do if he loses in 2024 in first interview since dropping out of race

Joe Biden predicted that Donald Trump will refuse a peaceful transfer of power if the 2024 election does not go in his favor.

Biden spoke to CBS’s Robert Costa for his first interview since dramatically dropping out of the presidential race on July 21.

The first clip released featured Biden’s now-signature mumbling.

“If Trump wins — no, I don’t have any confidence — I mean, if Trump loses, I don’t have any confidence,” the 81-year-old president replied when Costa asked him if he was confident there would be a peaceful transfer of power.

The moment Kamala Harris confronts anti-Israel protesters as they hijack her rally — before giving them an ultimatum

The crowd went wild during Kamala Harris’ largest campaign rally yet, and the Democratic candidate became upset when things got out of hand.

On Wednesday night, the jubilant crowd in Detroit sang along to Beyoncé and shouted for Donald Trump to be “locked up” as speakers cursed and hurled insults in their favor of Harris, pausing only to urge emergency services to respond after several people fainted from the heat.

Even vice presidential candidate Tim Walz was feeling the vibe. “Holy shit, you can have a party here in Michigan,” he told them.

The mood rose a notch when he introduced Harris. She emerged to a roaring ovation that lasted for several minutes, but then struggled to regain control of the stormy rally.

Some 15,000 people emerged from a hangar at Detroit’s airport, the largest crowd so far during Harris’ presidential campaign.

And when a group of Gaza protesters started shouting at her, Harris became angry.

“If you want Donald Trump to win, say so. Otherwise, I will speak,” she told them as her supporters cheered her on.
