Shock jock Kyle Sandilands claims Chris Hemsworth is lying about his height – saying ‘6ft 3ins actor’ is shorter than claimed
Kyle Sandilands has claimed that Chris Hemsworth isn’t quite the goliath often claimed.
The shock jock said on his KIIS FM program, The Kyle and Jackie O Show, on Tuesday that he is the same height as the Hollywood superstar.
The pair, who are friends, have stood next to each other, and Kyle believes Chris is the same height – 185.4 cm.
Chris’s height online was repeatedly given online as 6 feet 3 inches (190.5 cm), though the actor himself has only stated that he is “over 6 feet 1 inch”.
“I didn’t measure him, I just stood next to him and it’s clear we’re the same size,” insisted 52-year-old Kyle.

His co-host Jackie “O” Henderson was quick to ask, “How do you know you’re not six feet tall?”
“Everyone knows their own height,” Kyle insisted, adding that he hadn’t checked in several years.
“Not since my grandmother was alive and she measured me in the doorway with a pencil,” Kyle said.
Chris has previously referenced his height, tellingly W magazine that superhero Thor was a perfect fit for him.

The 39-year-old said in 2016 that he had previously lied about his height – to make himself sound smaller.
“There are definitely things I wanted to go up that I was completely off physically, and I normally lie about my height and say I’m shorter,” he said.
‘But it can go both ways. The audition order for Thor read “must be over six feet tall”, which I had never seen before!”
