Kyle Sandilands calls Rove McManus a ‘dog’ as he rekindles their 19-year feud during interview with Natalie Imbruglia: ‘He hasn’t done TV in 40 years’
Kyle Sandilands has rekindled his 19-year relationship with Rove McManus.
The shock jock took another jab at the television star on Tuesday during an interview with Natalie Imbruglia on his KIIS radio show.
Pop star Natalie, 47, told Kyle, 51, that she took advice from Rove, 48, ahead of an upcoming television hosting gig for the ARIA awards.

‘Why would you call him? He hasn’t done TV in 40 years,” Kyle replied.
“He knows what he’s doing when it comes to that sort of thing. I love Rove,’ Natalie said.
“We’re not fans of Rove here. You may not have been keeping up with the news,” Kyle explained.

“We think he’s a dog bastard.” But I’m glad he helped you.”
Natalie began to profusely apologize, and Kyle was then reminded by his producer that he and Rove buried the hatchet years ago.
‘Oh that’s right. We’re fine. There was no real drama. What was that over? I can’t remember,” Kyle admitted.

The infamous fight between the two men started in 2003 when Kyle accused Rove of teasing his ex-wife Tamara Jaber’s music.
“When Tamara released those songs a few years ago and the papers started saying I was the only one playing it… Rove jumped on the bandwagon and started trying,” Kyle said at the time.
“I started hating him and then Rove’s wife [Belinda Emmett] died, he and I met again and he said ”I’m sorry, I understand, I shouldn’t have gone there with the Tamara situation”.

“Two weeks later he was an asshole to me and Tamara on his TV show!” he continued.
Over the years, Kyle has continued to express his hatred of Rove, telling the Herald Sun in 2011, “I have no feelings for him anyway.”
In 2019, the men revealed that they had officially ended their protracted fight.

After announcing that the next guest on his breakfast radio show would be Rove, Kyle claimed the pair were now on good terms.
“A lot of people think all hell is going to break loose, but Rove and I patched everything up months ago, didn’t we, Jackie?’ he said.
“You did and it was a good thing you cleaned things up,” agreed Kyle’s co-host Jackie O Henderson.
Rove, who joined the couple in the studio, added, “And we settled it earlier in the parking lot, as any two grown men should.”
