Shock development after ABC star Antoinette Lattouf was dumped from the airwaves just days into her new job
ABC Radio's Perth office has been vandalized by a pro-Palestine supporter after Antoinette Lattouf was fired from ABC Sydney Mornings.
Lattouf was fired as temporary presenter of the ABC in Sydney on Wednesday over a series of social media posts criticizing the Israeli military.
In her posts, Lattouf questioned the legitimacy of footage filmed at a pro-Palestine rally in front of the Sydney Opera House, where people were heard chanting “gas the Jews” and accusing the IDF of rape during raids in the Gaza Strip.
A flood of complaints from the ABC's Jewish listeners reached chairman Ita Buttrose, leading to Lattouf's resignation.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, a protester accused the ABC of “censorship” and called the reason for Lattouf's termination “an affront to the idea of journalistic integrity.”

Images sent to The Australian showed a vandal wearing a white headscarf spray-painted over the ABC Radio logo at the broadcaster's offices on Fielder Street.
“Boycott – justice for Antoinette,” they wrote.
The protester then wrote “free Palestine” on the next window of the building.
'Direct action was taken against ABC Radio's Boorloo/Perth office to protest [the] the unjust dismissal of Antoinette Lattouf for her factual reporting on the Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people,” said a message next to the clip.
“This act of censorship by the ABC management is an affront to the idea of journalistic integrity.
“As the ABC cowers under outside pressure, a hundred journalists have been murdered while reporting on the genocide committed by the State of Israel.”
It follows a similar graffiti protest at the ABC headquarters in Melbourne on Friday.
The protest has not yet been reported to Western Australia Police.

On Thursday, Lattouf said she was 'disappointed' with the ABC and believes she was 'unlawfully dismissed'.
“This is not a victory for journalism or critical, honest thinking,” she said.
Lattouf has now submitted an application to Fair Work.
Lattouf had replaced Sarah Macdonald as presenter of the ABC Sydney Mornings radio program last week, but was told on Wednesday that she was no longer needed for her shifts on Thursday and Friday.
“ABC Sydney casual presenter Antoinette Lattouf will be off-air for her remaining two shifts this week,” an ABC spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
Her submission to the Fair Work Commission alleges she was dismissed after sharing a Human Rights Watch Instagram post, in breach of the ABC's policy.
It also claims that ABC chief executive David Anderson made the decision to terminate Lattouf's position at the national broadcaster.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted the ABC for comment.
