Shock Caitlin Clark video surfaces of her committing identical foul to Angel Reese swipe that caused WNBA uproar

While the WNBA continues to target rookie sensation Caitlin Clark, footage has now emerged of her also making hard fouls in the spirit of the league.

Earlier in the season, new fans began to get angry when Clark was brutally tackled by fellow rookie Angel Reese in a confrontation with the Chicago Sky.

As Clark ran for a layup, Reese extended her wingspan in an attempt to block the shot. However, after completely missing the ball, Reese’s forearm caught the side of Clark’s head, sending her crashing to the hardwood.

However, footage from a recent win over the Atlanta Dream shows the Indiana Fever star dishing out her share of hard fouls as well.

Much like Reese’s foul a few months ago, Clark did this in an attempt to convert a layup by Jordin Canada.

While Clark’s run was well timed, Canada beat her to it and got the ball out of her fingertips. Unfortunately, as she broke free, Clark’s arm hit her in the face in a downward clothesline.

The seven-year veteran went under the ring on contact, while Clark walked away from the game, as Reese did with her in June.

Clark’s unwarranted outcry grew even louder when she was bodychecked by Chennedy Carter in an earlier match against Sky.

Still, the clip from the match in Atlanta proves that Clark is not exactly an innocent target, but a formidable competitor, just like her contemporaries.

Aside from a bad foul, Clark played another spectacular game in A Town before a record crowd of 17,608 fans at State Farm Arena.

Clark had her 21st regular season game with at least 15 points and five assists. The former Iowa star had 19 points and seven assists with seven rebounds, two steals and a block to help Indiana secure the win.

With the win, Indiana moves to 14-16, which puts them in third place in the Eastern Conference and seventh in the league standings.

The Dream, on the other hand, is 10-19, fifth in the East and ninth overall.
