This is Your Life will not continue with any further episodes, TV Central reported on Monday.
It comes as a surprise considering the show was getting decent ratings before it got the axe.
An episode late last year with Tina Arena on the hot seat turned out to be a ratings winner.
About 532,000 Metro viewers tuned in to watch the pop star take a trip down memory lane with host Melissa Doyle.

Reality shows Australia’s Got Talent and Million Dollar Island are also on the chopping block.
The scare is less great for Million Dollar Island, because the much-hyped reality series turned out to be a flop with fans and was dismissed as an ‘amateurish version of Survivor’.
After scoring 409,000 points in the metro ratings for the premiere, viewers quickly abandoned the series the following two nights.

The following Tuesday and Wednesday it managed to attract only 273,000 viewers in the major centers.
The series was created by the team behind Big Brother and was presented by SAS Australia’s Ant Middleton.
Filmed in Malaysia, the format saw 100 contestants compete for $1 million in a survival game set on a remote island.
TV Central reports that Blow Up and We Interrupt This Broadcast will also be discontinued in 2024.
Daily Mail Australia has approached Channel Seven for comment.
