The upcoming film tells the true story of Jann Mardenborough, who became the third GT Academy winner in 2011, and the youngest ever winner at just 19 years old.
Archie Madekwe plays Jann Mardenborough, with Djimon Hounsou playing his father, and Geri Halliwell, his mother.
Orlando Bloom plays Danny Moore, a character based on real life GT Academy founder Darren Cox and David Harbor plays Jann’s trainer, Jack Salter.
The film comes from director Neill Blomkamp (District 9), working from a script by Zach Baylin (Creed III), Will Dunn (Ms. Marvel) and Jason Hall (American Sniper), in theaters August 11.
