Shirtless David Beckham shows off his six-pack as he persuades Victoria to jump on a jet ski (after she squeezes in a workout) as they holiday with their kids on a mega yacht in Sardinia to celebrate Harper’s 13th birthday

The Beckham family appeared to be in high spirits as they enjoyed a day at the beach during a family holiday in Sardinia on Wednesday.

David Beckham gathered his family on a megayacht in Sardinia for his daughter Harper’s 13th birthday. He and his brood enjoyed the warm weather and tried out various water sports.

The 49-year-old former footballer showed off his muscular figure as he went shirtless in lemon yellow swimming trunks, before donning a life jacket and hopping on a jet ski.

Behind him, 50-year-old Victoria jumped into the water, holding on tightly to her husband as he bobbed on the waves.

The Beckham matriarch wore a black swim skirt with her life jacket and added a baseball cap as she enjoyed the ride.

However, it wasn’t all fun and games for Victoria, who certainly didn’t want to let her rigorous training regimen slide over the holidays.

She was photographed lifting weights on the yacht and doing her exercises on the sun deck, wearing a plain black T-shirt and denim shorts.

However, the day was dedicated to the couple’s youngest daughter, Harper, who officially celebrated her teenage years.

The family celebrated by hanging pink and silver balloons, with Harper taking the seat of honour as she enjoyed breakfast with her siblings Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 19.

Harper also went out on the jet skis and got to take a ride with Cruz.

Unfortunately, her eldest brother Brooklyn, 25, was unable to make the trip and stayed in Los Angeles with his wife Nicola Peltz, 29.

However, he did thank his little sister with a sweet Instagram post on her big day, sharing a gallery of snaps with the caption: ‘Happy 13th birthday to the sweetest little sister in the world xx we love you so much xxxxxxxxxxxxx ❤️.’

Victoria and David also celebrated the milestone by sharing sweet posts on social media.

Fashion designer Victoria called her only daughter her “best friend” and praised her as a “beautiful, talented young lady” in her Instagram post.

She shared a series of photos of herself as a baby, some of which had never been seen before, as well as a number of photos of herself growing up, where they posed together as mother and daughter.

Inter Miami CF owner David shared the same montage of his “beautiful little girl” and enthusiastically said she was “his world.”

Victoria wrote in the caption of her post: ‘Happy birthday dear friend. You are sweet and kind and your smile warms our hearts every day.

‘You truly are our everything, Harper Seven, and we are so proud of the happy, beautiful, talented young lady you have become.

‘We love you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Kisses @DavidBeckham @BrooklynPeltzBeckham @RomeoBeckham @CruzBeckham xxx.’

While David wrote in his post: ‘Happy 13th birthday my beautiful little girl. Daddy is so proud of you.

‘You have grown into a kind, generous and beautiful young lady with a wonderful heart and a wonderful smile that we all love so very much.

‘Always be the beautiful person that you are. Harper Seven, you are my world. #HarperSeven @victoriabeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham.’

The Sardinian trip could possibly have been a double celebration, because Victoria and David had also just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. 

Going all out for the milestone,  the loved-up pair slipped back into their now iconic wedding outfits for a fun Instagram snap.

The pair married at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland in 1999 in lavish ceremony which cost almost £1M.

Not only did the couple once again don their matching purple ensembles from the reception but also sat on their infamous gold thrones.

Ageless Victoria put on a very leggy display in the Antonio Berardi gown which boasted a floral ruffled neckline and daring split that she teamed with quirky heels.

Meanwhile David looked dapper in his suit complete with matching suede shoes and flashed a huge grin as he held his wife’s hand.

The couple, who share four kids captioned the joint post: ‘Look what we found’.

David previously joked about the look during a 2017 appearance on Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs: ‘I even had a top hat in purple, what was I thinking? I looked like the guys out of Dumb and Dumber.’

In the comments section David’s mother Sandra gushed: ’25yrs and you both still look amazing, special memories’.

While is younger sister Joanne wrote: ‘Look as good now as you did back then, iconic’.

The Mail later revealed how the couple came up with the idea over drinks one night and asked their team to dig it out of storage as a ‘gift to their loyal fans.’

One friend said: ‘Victoria is laughing her head off, she keeps saying it’s a good job that the emoji wasn’t around back in 1999. 

‘She is finding the whole thing absolutely hilarious.’

Meanwhile, David was said to be ‘aghast’ at his purple suede shoes. 

They were the last part of the outfit which the Beckhams found, and the footballer was said to be ‘mortified’ when he saw them.

‘David was like “oh my God” when he saw them,’ said the pal. ‘Victoria’s shoes are so gorgeous but his are definitely one his fashion mistakes.

‘He was mortified when he saw them all of these years later.’

Dressing up and posing in their £12million Cotswolds home, the couple sat on thrones, were pictured walking around the gardens of their estate and shared videos of them getting dressed.

Victoria  showed a video of David breathing in to squeeze into his trousers morning, he excitedly said: ‘I’m in, I’m in!’

Then later in the video, the sound of material ripping could be heard as he continued to put on the rest of the suit.

Yet the former Spice Girl had no problems as she claimed the dress needed ‘no alterations’. 

Victoria wore a more reserved champagne Vera Wang gown for the ceremony, while the groom opted for a white suit.

During a 2021 appearance on Jimmy Fallon she said of the outfit change: ‘It just seemed like a really good idea at the time, you know?

‘It really did. I think it was a naiveté then, we didn’t know about fashion.

She added: ‘We were just having fun with it, which, to be honest with you, is kind of the way it should be.’

Sparing no expense for the big day back, the power couple hired Bentley’s Entertainments, organisers of Elton John’s birthday as well as Princess Anne’s 40th, to mastermind the highly-publicized showbiz event.

Their picturesque Irish venue sat on 560 acres and dated back to the 18th century, with organizer Peregrine Armstrong-Jones telling OK! how ‘Victoria wanted somewhere really private and unique, somewhere leafy and green’.

She had hired Simon Lycett, who worked on the 90s rom-com Four Weddings And A Funeral, to set up the floral arrangements – complete with fresh apples which had been pierced and dotted around the castle in order to discharge the scent of fruit.

David rocked up in a £230,000 Bentley Azure wearing a cream suit designed by Timothy Everett, Victoria sported a Vera Wang dress as she rode in style in a Bentley Arnage.

She commanded attention in a diamond-and-gold crown, which was custom-built by Slim Barrett who had previously crafted accessories for Princess Diana.
