Shirley Ballas shared how “excited” she is to become a grandmother for the first time as her son Mark is expecting his first child with his wife BC Jean.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, 62, who shares her only child with ex-husband Corky, has already vowed to be a glamorous wife rather than a grandma.
Shirley revealed the “thoughtful” way her Dancing With The Stars professional son, 37, and his American singer, 36, told her the incredible news.
She told Good Housekeeping, “I can’t tell you how excited I am. (My son) Mark told us the news in such a thoughtful way.
“I was in Las Vegas with his dad, Corky, because Mark was performing there, and after the show his dog came in wearing a little bandana.

“It took us a while to finally clock that the front of the bandana read ‘Baby on board’!”
Earlier this month, Shirley shared that she would fly to Los Angeles to visit her son in the evenings as much as possible with her busy Strictly schedule.
In an interview with BBC Breakfast, she happily said: ‘I’m going to be a glamorous woman for the first time.’
His beautiful wife BC Jean, she is six and a half months pregnant and I couldn’t be more excited. I think the date will be around October 29th.’
She explained, “I can fly on Sunday. Len (Goodman, the former chief judge) used to do that with Bruno (Tonioli), they flew on Sunday and back on Friday.
“My son lives in Los Angeles, so where there’s a will there’s a way, just like my challenges.”
It comes after Shirley looked nothing short of sensational as she donned a string of skimpy bikinis earlier this month for stunning photos on social media.
The Strict judge showed off her stunning figure in the Fantasy Lingerie swimwear which she revealed was inspired by fellow judge Motsi Mabuse.
Shirley first modeled a colorful number with a crossover top and high-waisted pants as she posed with her hand on her hip.
The stunner then got the heartbeat racing in a black floral two piece suit and added extra height with a pair of wedges.
She told Good Housekeeping, “I can’t tell you how excited I am. (My son) Mark told us the news in such a thoughtful way.’
Career: Earlier this month, Shirley shared that she would fly to Los Angeles to visit her son in the evenings as much as possible with her busy strict schedule
