Fans of TV favorite Michelle Keegan know her as a talented actress with an enviably effortless aesthetic.
The 37-year-old Our Girl star has long attracted attention with her understatedly glamorous look and impressively toned physique.
But cosmetic surgery experts have pointed out that her current aesthetic is very different from the one she had when she first appeared on screen 17 years ago.
Throwback images of Ms Keegan, shared by beauty therapists on TikTok, show a dramatic transformation since her days playing Tina McIntyre on Coronation Street.
Although the actor, who is married to former TOWIE star Mark Wright, previously denied undergoing any cosmetic ‘tweaks’, experts have now weighed in and speculated that a series of procedures are the likely explanation for her new appearance.

Fans have long speculated that she has undergone aesthetic enhancements, with noticeably fuller lips and a contoured chin, with some even calling her ‘unrecognizable’. Pictured, Keegan earlier this month
Now, cosmetic experts have weighed in, suggesting that the actor’s new look is likely the result of aesthetic treatments to alter the appearance of her forehead, jaw and nose. Pictured, Keegan in 2011
Beth Drew, an NHS midwife and beautician working in Worcestershire, said in a recent Instagram video that she suspects Ms Keegan has undergone procedures to achieve fuller lips and a tighter chin.
She also added that some cosmetic work may have been done to her upper eyelids.
“Michelle Keegan is a fantastic example of a beauty treatment that can be done well,” she told her 4,000 Instagram followers.
‘Most people look at Michelle Keegan and think, wow, she’s so naturally beautiful, and she is.’
‘But there’s actually not much natural about it.
“But it looks natural because it’s done very well.”
Ms Drew said her youthful appearance may be due to anti-wrinkle injections such as Botox around her eyes and forehead. Botox relaxes the muscles in her face and helps to smooth out lines and wrinkles.
‘In my professional opinion, she’s had Botox mainly around her forehead and her eyes, just to open them up a little bit.
“You can see in the pre-op photos her eyes were slightly covered, but in the post-op photos they were not,” she told her followers in the video.

Beth Drew, an NHS midwife and beautician from Malvern in Worcestershire, also said she suspects the actress has had ‘adjustments’ to her upper eyelids and chin
‘Botox can really lift the eyebrows and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.’
“I think she had a nose job or a non-surgical nose job with filler.”
In a rhinoplasty, surgeons reshape the tip of the nose during a complex surgery, often by removing some cartilage and soft tissue.
But it does carry the risk of complications, such as possible asymmetry or removing too much tissue, making the nose look too pinched.
In recent years, non-surgical rhinoplasty has become popular. It involves filling in bumps with injections of hyaluronic acid, the same substance used to plump up areas such as the lips and cheeks.
Despite their popularity, surgeons have previously said that using fillers at a young age carries several risks, including stretched skin that sags sooner than normal.
In 2018, the actress even revealed to the Sunday Express’ S Magazine that she flatters fans who speculate about her appearance, but admitted she wouldn’t opt for plastic surgery because she’s “afraid it would go wrong.” Pictured, Keegan in 2012

Ms Drew added: ‘She’s definitely had some lip fillers, but they’ve been done very nicely. She’s also had her jaw and chin contoured.
‘She may not even have had her jaw operated on.
“She could have had chin filler and it could have lengthened her jawline. She just looks gorgeous.”
Keegan has never publicly confirmed or denied that he had a nose job.
She also never said whether she had any non-surgical cosmetic treatments, such as fillers or Botox injections.

In 2015, Our Girl spoke out again about surgery, saying, “(The speculation) doesn’t really upset me. People always say, ‘Do you have it or don’t you have it?'” Pictured with husband Mark Wright in 2019
In a 2015 interview with Alan Carr, she also denied having her teeth fixed, insisting they were her own. Pictured in 2013
“But I haven’t done that and I don’t think I ever will, to be honest. I’m afraid it’s going to go wrong.”

“But it’s my business. It’s my face. So what does it matter if I have it or not? I don’t read it when people speculate about it.”
In an interview with Alan Carr that same year, she also denied having her teeth fixed, insisting they were her own.
She stated, “I just want to say… I 100 percent have not had any teeth done… They are MY teeth. So I take that as a compliment. Thank you.”
And in 2014, faced with speculation again, her spokesperson denied that she had had breast augmentation.
