Kyle is a single father to MacKenzie and has never married.
Although he keeps his personal life largely private, he previously joked in an interview: “I’ve never been married, but I imagine what it’s like: sometimes Jack snores and I get to poke him.”

A day later, Kyle was photographed in his signature casual look while walking the streets of Los Angeles.

The single father was seen wearing a white sleeveless T-shirt, dark blue shorts, sunglasses and a summer hat on his head, as he walked through it with ease.
Yesterday, Jack revealed the couple’s future plans, telling Entertainment tonight: ‘I love Tenacious D… We had to take a break, but I love the D.
“Everybody takes a break sometimes. We’ll be back,” he added.
Tenacious D was on stage in Sydney, Australia on Sunday, July 14, when Jack grabbed a birthday cake for bandmate Kyle and asked him to make a wish.
Kyle replied, “Don’t miss Trump next time.”
The audience reacted mostly with cheers and laughter, apart from a few disappointed reactions.
However, Kyle received a lot of criticism for this comment.
He later posted a statement on social media, writing: “The line I improvised on stage in Sydney was highly inappropriate, dangerous and a terrible mistake.
‘I do not condone any form of violence, against anyone.
“What happened was a tragedy, and I am deeply sorry for my severe lack of judgment. I sincerely apologize to those I have disappointed and am truly sorry for any pain I have caused.”
“I love Tenacious D… We had to take a break, but I love the D,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “Everybody takes a break. We’ll be back,” he added.
The duo canceled their band’s six remaining tours of Australia and New Zealand, later saying their future creative plans were on hold.
Kyle’s comments caused a rift online, with Kyle even banning Sandilands from his radio show for life following the remark.
Speaking on The Kyle & Jackie O show, radio host Sandilands said: “So, this guy wishes death on Trump. A message to our talent bookers: I will not be doing any future Tenacious D interviews.
“Anyone who wishes someone dead who was almost murdered, all jokes aside, it’s too much for me. Anyone who wishes someone else dead is just a piece of shit.”
