Sheree thought things were going well with her new boyfriend. Then she made a mortifying discovery at his family BBQ

Sheree had been dating her new boyfriend for three months and thought everything was going well… but then she made a shocking discovery at a family gathering.

The New Zealand expat shared her chilling story on Will and Woody’s KIIS FM afternoon radio show during their ‘worst dates’ segment.

And it would take an extremely bad dating experience to beat her story.

Sheree was excited to meet her boyfriend’s parents, which she saw as the next step in their relationship, after the pair met through a mutual friend.

“I had never met his parents, but he had told me many stories about them,” she recalled.

Will and Woody’s Will couldn’t contain his shock as Sheree remembered the story

“He said he had a very good relationship with his father, mother and the whole family.”

“So I finally went to the barbecue and… I recognized his dad,” she told Will and Woody, as the radio duo gasped.

“Oh no,” Will said.

Sheree revealed that she had “met his father in the past on a dating app, and I had dated his father.”

This was followed by pandemonium in the studio, with Woody asking, “Oh my God, had you contacted the father?”

“Yes, I did that… in a park,” Sheree admitted.

Woody was now laughing hysterically and having trouble speaking.

It is unclear when Sheree dated the father and how old she was when she met him.

It is also unknown whether Sheree’s new relationship lasted.

“Not awkward at all,” said another sarcastically.

A third wrote: ‘She made me realize that in life you don’t have to judge your past with the opportunities you have now.’
