Shelley and Anthony Sullivan: MCoBeauty founder’s estranged husband breaks his silence as rumours swirl about the multi-millionaire couple’s shock marriage split

Shelley Sullivan’s estranged husband has broken his silence in the wake of the couple’s abrupt marital breakdown, as rumors swirl that a third party was involved.

Shelley, the multi-millionaire founder of popular skincare brand MCoBeauty, and her accountant husband, Anthony, split two weeks ago after an explosive argument.

The heated argument prompted Anthony, 46, to leave for the United States, while his wife moved to the InterContinental in Double Bay. It is believed he will return to Sydney soon.

“The stories circulating are false, malicious and hurtful to our family,” Anthony said in a statement to Ny Breaking Australia.

“Shelley and I separated for our own private reasons and there is no third party involved.”

Anthony is an accountant and CEO of Quantaco, which provides financial services to companies in the hospitality industry.

Shelley, 50, is celebrated as one of Australia’s most successful businesswomen.

She made a name for herself in the 1990s with her modeling and talent agency before launching her thriving ‘masstige’ beauty brand ModelCo in 2016.

The couple had known each other for years and were friends before tying the knot in a lavish ceremony in Point Piper in 2016.

“Our personal relationship grew out of our business partnership and led to our marriage seven years ago – a marriage built on mutual love and respect,” Mr. Sullivan said Wednesday.

“We jointly own and operate businesses in finance, technology, professional services and cosmetics.

‘We remain close and are working on next steps.’

His statement comes a day after the couple’s friend Kristin Fisher denounced rumors that she was the “other woman” behind the couple’s divorce.

“This is absolutely not true,” she told Ny Breaking Australia.

“I’m so tired of being the clickbait in all these stories and having to defend myself over something that I had nothing, and I mean NOTHING, to do with.”

The Double Bay’s eyebrow queen doubled down on the false rumors and admitted that she is dating someone else.

“The truth is, I’ve only been with one person lately,” Kristin said.

On Monday, a day after news of the well-heeled couples’ divorce broke, Shelley was spotted comforted by her mother in Sydney’s financial district, where her multi-million dollar business is based.

The couple looked visibly sad as they shared a tender moment amid her marital breakdown.

Shelley told Ny Breaking Australia she would not comment on the breakup of the marriage.

“Shelley is absolutely devastated by the split,” a close friend told Ny Breaking Australia.

‘Anthony was her rock, she is devastated – her marriage was everything to her.’

The businesswoman’s close group of friends are doing their best to support her in dealing with the breakup.

“She has an amazing network that has their arms around her right now,” the friend added.

Shelley and Anthony have since moved from their $11,000-a-week Grade II listed rental home Leura in Bellevue Hill.
