Denim shorts reinvent themselves in new and questionable ways every year, but shoppers have finally drawn the line in a pair of barely-there shorts from Shein.
The tiny ‘Eilly Bazar raw shorts’ have been the butt of many jokes after thousands of ads were shared on social media.
“These are not shorts… they are a loincloth… just saying,” one woman wrote alongside a photo of the $20.95 pants.
Denim shorts are reinvented in new and questionable ways every year, but shoppers have finally drawn the line in a pair of barely-there shorts from Shein.
And people were quick to agree, with one woman simply saying ‘if this is real then it’s tragic’.
“It’s like Levi’s and Speedo have a baby,” wrote one mom.
“You can’t call them booty shorts, they sure are coochie shorts,” said another.
A third added: ‘Loot? Rather EVERYTHING is hanging shorts.
Men were quick to judge the shorts, too.
Her admirers won’t have to fantasize about undressing her with their eyes. If she wears that, there’s nothing left to imagine,’ said one.
Some men seemed to want the shorts for themselves.
Are they available for men? I could use a pair to get back to the office,” said one man.
“I want a pair for the lawn when I mow,” said one parent.
While women who bought them at the budget retailer left four and five star reviews.
‘Nice material and great fit,’ wrote one woman.
‘Sexy and perfect and nice and beautiful,’ said a second.
“Good quality, fits me perfectly, highly recommend,” wrote a third.
Many people posted photos of the shorts when giving five-star reviews, but none included photos of shoppers wearing them.
No one seemed brave enough to post photos of themselves in the shorts.
“I would literally crack up if I saw someone using this on anything,” said one woman.
Others added that the shorts would “probably lead to a yeast infection.”
This is not the first time that Shein shorts surprise buyers.
