A rare photo of Sheikh Jassim has surfaced on social media as the Qatari billionaire continues his bid to buy Manchester United this summer.

Sheikh Jassim and British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe are waiting to discover who won the long-running battle for control of the club.

The Premier League giants are negotiating with the Qatari-led consortium on what is reported to be a deal worth more than £4.7 million.

According to Reuters, Sheikh Jassim’s offer is being viewed more favorably than Ratcliffe’s and could gain exclusivity.

And his dad took to Instagram on Thursday night to share a photo with his three sons.

“With boys Jassim, Saheem bin Khalid and Fahad,” he captioned the image.

The Glazer family owners would sell outright as part of the Qatar deal, while Ratcliffe’s bid would ensure the unpopular Americans retain a minority stake in the club.

United’s share price shot up last week ahead of a deal.

Manchester United are reportedly considering giving Sheikh Jassim exclusivity

If the exclusivity period is given, United will not be able to negotiate with any other bidder, although it is unclear how long this period could last.

However, Reuters added that a new bid from Ratcliffe could hamper Jassim’s attempt to secure exclusivity.
