Witherspoon won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the 2005 film Walk the Line.
And she was arrested for disorderly conduct in April 2013 after her husband, Jim Toth, was pulled over for suspected drunken driving.
This comes after an update that Witherspoon and girlfriend Nicole Kidman are still “waiting” for an update on Big Little Lies.

The 48-year-old actress and her 57-year-old co-star are both excited to return for a third season of the hit HBO show — which originally ran from 2017 to 2019 — but the novel’s author, Liane Moriarty, has worked on some new material.
She told E! News: ‘Nicole and I have been waiting. We’re waiting for Liane Moriarty. She’s going to hand something in soon.
“We’re back to the original author and we’re going back to the original characters.”

She added: “It’s exciting too because I think the kids are probably a bit older now.
‘So that might add another element. I don’t know yet, I haven’t read it yet.’

Meanwhile, the ‘Perfect Couple’ actress – who also starred on the show alongside Laura Dern, Zoe Kravitz and Shailene Woodley – stressed that it’s best to keep details about the new season under wraps until actual progress has been made.
She said, ‘We have to keep our mouths shut. There’s that whole thing about never talking about something until you’ve done it.
“When you talk about doing it, that’s the dopamine hit of doing it. You feel like you’ve done it. It is a scientific study.’
In January, Nicole confirmed there was a “timeline” for season three.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she said: ‘We’re always cooking things! We have a timeline for it now.”
The powerhouse will then write a book with Harlan Coben that will be released in 2025
