Country music star Shay Mooney of duo Dan + Shay and wife Hannah welcome son Abraham: ‘Grateful doesn’t start covering him up’
The country music star of the duo Dan + Shay has welcomed a son with wife Hannah Shay.
He is the third child of the 30-year-old songwriter and 31-year-old podcaster, who also share five-year-old Asher and two-year-old Ames.
Taking to Instagram to announce Abram’s birth, the recording artist wrote: “Grateful he doesn’t start covering it up.”

Shay pointed out that Abram was born just three days ago, on January 17, and that he used his nickname as the baby’s middle name.
The news accompanied a reel that showed the singer singing to the little boy while he slept peacefully on his father’s shirtless chest.
He sat comfortably in a hospital chair, wearing light-colored pants and white Nikes.
His wife shared the same snippet and wrote: ‘First song ever sung for newest member of family… Abram Shay you are so loved and prayed for you baby. Grateful for all that God has done for us this week. 01/17/23’

In August, to announce that they were expecting, the former Miss Arkansas uploaded an adorable Instagram video of her two children’s reactions when they were told they would have a baby brother next year instead of a long-awaited baby sister.
Hannah added a short caption to the compilation, writing: ‘Mooney Baby #3! Grateful. Excited. Tired.’

Shay and Hannah began dating in 2014 after being introduced through mutual friends.
After their relationship began with phone calls, the county star asked the model to attend one of his shows.
