And on Thursday the musician, 25, looked in top form as he left a martial arts academy in Los Angeles after a grueling workout.

The If I Can’t Have You star stopped to chat with some friends just as he headed to his parked car.

For his workout, the Canada native showed off his ripped physique in a white tank top which he paired with dark gray sweatpants and brown clogs.

He also carried a black bag over his shoulder that likely contained some of his workout essentials, such as a towel and sneakers.

It has now been almost three years since the musician released his fourth studio album Wonder.

To promote the album, Mendes embarked on the Wonder: The World Tour, which began in Portland, Oregon in June 2022 and would end in Dublin, Ireland in August 2023.

The global trek, which would include 64 shows across North America, the United Kingdom and Europe.

Mendes has written a new standalone single called What the Hell Are We Dying For? last June.

‘What the hell are we dying for? AVAILABLE NOW,” he began in an Instagram post.

“I started writing this song yesterday morning with my friends in upstate New York and only finished it a few hours ago. I thought it was important to share it with you in real time.”

He ended the post by revealing that he donates to the Canadian Red Cross. Visit the link in my bio for more information or donate if you can.’

Last weekend, Mendes sparked rumors that more new music may be on the way when he was seen on the set of a project with a fellow musician in Los Angeles.

No details have been revealed.

While enjoying his time away from the spotlight, Mendes briefly rekindled his romance with Camila Cabello.

They sent fans into overdrive after they were spotted sharing a kiss at the 2023 Coachella Music Festival in April.

They were seen together in the weeks that followed, but the duo eventually broke up.

“I think I’m approaching 25 and still feeling pretty confused about a lot of things in my life,” the Treat You Better singer admitted to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 in June.

He continued, “And I think that was an expression of that sense of frustration about what’s happening, this sense of the pendulum swinging back and forth. I think I’m still in a very confused place, but I know that there are some people in my life that I love very much, and I know that music is something that I love very much, and I know that this planet is something I love very much.

“And all three of these things are worth fighting for and dying for. And I think that’s where that energy came from.”

Mendes briefly returned to the stage in his hometown of Toronto when he duetted with Ed Sheeran later in June.
