Shawn Mendes hints at Sabrina Carpenter and Camila Cabello love triangle

Shawn Mendes alluded to the rumors of a love triangle involving him, Sabrina Carpenter and his ex Camila Cabello in a new interview.

The Stitches hitmaker, 26, appeared in a preview clip for an episode of John Mayer’s upcoming SiriusXM show, How is lifewhich will be released on Thursday.

In the clip, the Canadian crooner – who recently admitted he was still “figuring out” his sexuality – referenced a past love triangle and expressed his regret over the way he handled it.

In early 2023, he was rumored to be dating Espresso hitmaker Sabrina, 25, although he denied the pair were in a relationship.

During this time, he was spotted rekindling his romance with ex Camila, 27.

None of them have discussed the love triangle, although many fans think Sabrina may have referenced it in her song “Taste.”

In the song — which she also performed for Camila and Shawn at the 2024 MTV VMAs — she sings, “I heard you guys are back together and if that’s true / You’ll just have to taste me when he kisses you / If you want forever, I bet you do. Know that you will taste me too.”
