Shawn Levy Says Taylor Swift’s ‘Crazy’ At Chiefs-Jets Football Game Was ‘Depressing’

Director Sean Levy spoke candidly about the experience at the recent Chiefs vs. Jets football game with Taylor Swift, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

In an interview with DiversityThe 55-year-old director said: “It’s almost depressing, by the way — I could make 50 more hit movies and shows and I’d still be known as the guy in the orange suede jacket who goes to the Chiefs-Jets game with Taylor and others.” ‘

He also described the 33-year-old singer as “a cultural magnet unlike anything I’ve ever seen.” Taylor met Chiefs player Travis Kelce, which caused increased attention from fans and the media.

Levi was invited by Reynolds to what he expected to be a men’s night out at MetLife Stadium last week.

He explained, “It was just like, ‘Wait, we can go to an NFL game with our buddies?’ Let’s do it.”

He later emphasized: ‘I’ve known famous people, but Taylor is definitely a cultural magnet unlike anything I’ve seen.’

Project director Adam recalled, “I think I might have said to Ryan and Blake[Lively]as they were driving to the stadium … I’m like, ‘I’ve never been more aware of what I’m saying, ’cause if you go to a football game in the box with taylor, you have to assume you’re on camera the whole time and they’re capable of slow motion so they can definitely read lips.

He playfully added, ‘So I kept it clean.’

Joining the group in the high-profile box suite were Sabrina Carpenter and Sophie Turner.

After the game, Levy joked on Instagram that ‘all future Sunday nights are ruined’.

He continued to show his great sense of humor by adding: ‘Apparently there was a football match last night too.’

Taylor previously caused quite a stir when she attended the Sept. 24 game between the KC Chiefs and the Chicago Bears.
