Shawn Johnson revealed her newborn son's name in a sweet video shared to her Instagram Story on Sunday.
The 31-year-old former Olympic gold medalist shared a heartwarming video of herself cradling “our dear sweet bear” as she rests in bed.
The athlete, who welcomed her child earlier this month, also wrote that her son is already “eating and sleeping like a champ,” much to his family's delight.
Johnson then shared a close-up photo of Bear and added a text image saying the newborn was “perfect.”
The gymnast then posted a photo showing Bear resting on the chest of his father, Andrew East.

The happy couple first met in 2012 and started their relationship that same year.
Johnson and the former professional football player got engaged in 2015 and held a wedding ceremony in Tennessee the following year.
The couple initially planned to start a family in 2017, although the gymnast suffered a miscarriage in October.
The former Olympian announced she had become pregnant for the second time in 2019 and gave birth to her daughter Drew, four, in October.
Johnson and East waited two years before welcoming their son Jett, two, in July 2021.
The former athlete revealed she was planning to have another child last July.
The happy couple spoke to People in May last year and shared what they wish they had known about parenting before welcoming children.
East stated, “There are so many logistics involved with having a child that it's so easy to lose marriage as a priority.”

Johnson encouraged couples expecting children to try to strengthen their bond with each other.
She stated that parenting “will only put a strain on your marriage unless you make it a priority.” You have to actively work on your marriage.'
Johnson also added that she learned to feel more comfortable in her own body during her pregnancy.
'I don't think I've ever appreciated my body more. It was a very liberating feeling. “I loved it,” she said.
