Sharon Stone dons pink embellished caftan to visit Catholic church in Rome with her ‘dear friend Padre Guilio’

Sharon Stone wore a pink caftan and brown mules as she visited the church of San Giuseppe dei Falegnami (Saint Joseph of the Carpenters) in the Italian capital Rome last Saturday.

The 66-year-old Oscar nominee – who was reportedly scouting a location for her next painting exhibition – converted to Vajrayana Buddhism when she met the 14th Dalai Lama, after practicing Scientology for several years in the 1990s.

The 361-year-old Catholic church overlooking the Roman Forum recently underwent a two-year restoration after two of its four roof trusses collapsed in 2018.

The What About Love actress just signed up to play the lead role of the antagonist opposite Bob Odenkirk in Universal Pictures’ highly anticipated action film Nobody 2, which is already scheduled to hit US and UK theaters on August 15, 2025.

Stone got her big break playing villains in Paul Verhoeven’s 1990 film Total Recall and in his 1992 film Basic Instinct.

The Pennsylvania-born blonde will also appear in the 11th season of Finding Your Roots starring Henry Louis Gates, Jr., premiering early next year on PBS.

“I just found out I’m part of the French royal family,” Sharon boasted to THR on July 9th.

“I just did that show on PBS, Finding Your Roots, and it turns out I’m related to Charlemagne. I come from a long line of royalty in France!”
