The posts come after Sharon took to the social media platform on Monday to mourn the loss of beloved actor Paul Ruebens, best known for his portrayal of the character Pee-wee Herman.
She shared a smiling photo of the two and wrote, “Paul Reubens was my dear friend. He and his family are all intellectual giants who give a lot to our country.’
The image showed the old friend bundled up in contrasting winter coats as they posed outside on a gray winter day.
The caption continued, “There were times when Paul was misunderstood and attacked by those who were nowhere near as brave or giving themselves to this world, yet he remained cheerful, generous and good.
Paul Reubens was an example of love & decency. I am eternally grateful to him for his valued and tender friendship. My condolences to friends and family.”
