Sharna Burgess opens up about co-parenting boyfriend Brian Austin Green’s kids with Megan Fox
Sharna Burgess was a guest on the Not So Hollywood podcast this week, and she talked about her and boyfriend Brian Austin Green’s co-parenting relationship with Megan Fox.
The 37-year-old Dancing With The Stars pro – who attended the iHeartRadio Music Awards last month – called the trio’s dynamic “amazing.”
Honestly, the relationship is great. We’re all going to Universal, really [Studios] Today. All in all, which is great for the kids,” she said hosting Adrianna Costa.
Brian, 49, and Megan, 36, share three sons: Noah, 10, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 6. Sharna and Brian welcomed 10-month-old son Zane last year. The actor also shares a son Kassius, 21, with ex Vanessa Marcil.
The mother of one child explained, “The reason it’s great is because the kids are the focus. There is nothing for it but to make it a beautiful, healthy, whole environment for them.’

“People try to protect children from divorce as much as possible so they won’t be affected by it, but the truth is they will be affected by it,” she admitted.
‘So you can only choose whether there is a positive effect or a negative effect.’
The blonde beauty, who started dating Austin Green in late 2020, stated: “For [the kids]representation is important.’
She emphasized that while “mom and dad are no longer together,” the kids need to see that “they still get along.”
Burgess, who hails from Australia, mentioned communication, mutual respect and love as some of the values the three adults try to instill in their offspring.
“There’s this weird, archaic idea that exes can’t be friends and co-parenting has to be hard,” the influencer noted on the podcast.
She praised Brian and Megan’s relationship, saying, “They’ve worked so hard to make it a positive impact on the kids, to make sure everything is smooth, loving and always kind to them.”
In February, the Beverly Hills 90210 alum took to Instagram to credit his ex-wife Megan as he bashed ex-partner Vanessa.

It started when the 54-year-old actress answered a fan’s question about whether co-parenting was hard.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, she replied, “We didn’t and don’t co-parent. I raised my son alone.’
Brian countered her statement as he screenshotted the post, writing, “Megan and me [busted] our a**es to give Kass a well-rounded childhood [because] his mother was rarely there.’
He began the post by saying, “So I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to read constant lies from a 50+ year old woman on social media like she’s still in high school.”
The disgruntled father-of-five continued, “She’s never been one to walk the walk in her life.”
Austin Green and Fox met while working together in 2004 and got married in 2010.
The former couple then split for good in May 2020, after numerous breakups throughout their marriage.
Megan filed for divorce for the second and final time in November 2020.
The blue-eyed bombshell continued with her Midnight in the Switchgrass costar Machine Gun Kelly.
The two got engaged in January 2022, and while they reportedly took a break earlier this year, they got back together in early April for a beach vacation.
Last October, Brian took to Instagram to pay tribute to Sharna on their two-year anniversary.

While sharing a carousel of intimate family photos, he wrote, “October 16, 2 years ago was a day like any other day, but I made plans to meet someone new for coffee.
My God, I am grateful for that every day. You are a light in my life, our children’s lives and the most wonderful person I have ever met.
“The life we have created and continue to create is better than anything I ever thought possible :)) I love you.”
Burgess replied in the comments, “I love you honey, this is so beautiful. 2 years ago all my dreams came true, I just didn’t know it yet. Now it is.’
