Shaquille O’Neal has revealed he lost weight over the summer, down to 351 pounds, though the basketball star insists his journey to getting fit isn’t quite done.
The Los Angeles Lakers legend told it Entertainment tonight that he’s lost a whopping 55 pounds lately, which is just six pounds more than when he won his first NBA championship with Kobe Bryant in 2000.
“I’ll probably get between 315 and 330,” said Shaq, adding that he sets “crazy goals” for himself while also mocking his NBA colleague on TNT, Charles Barkley, whom he calls “fat.”
“I got chubby and couldn’t even climb the stairs. I didn’t like the way I looked in the mirror. I thought, ‘I’m going to lose 20,’ and then I tried to lose 20,” Shaq continued.
