NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal played with many teammates during his Hall of Fame career, but he didn’t hesitate to name who he thought was the worst.
On an episode of his podcast ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq’, O’Neal was asked who his worst teammate of all time was and he replied very quickly.
O’Neal saw Dennis Rodman as his least favorite player to appear next to the court, as he revealed the former attacker was making it morally difficult.

Dennis Rodman appeared in only 23 games with the Lakers, scoring an average of 11.2 rebounds
Worst teammate? Dennis Rodman,” O’Neal said. “He was a great player, but he made it difficult. Like when you try to get the guys together and let the people above you do what he wants.
“So we had to be there an hour before the game. He had arrived 15 minutes before the game and was eating chicken and rice.
While the coaches were talking, he jumped in the shower. Cold shower. Come on and give you 15-20 rebounds. He won’t shower after the game and go to a club with girls who look like you.’
Rodman won five NBA championships between his time with the Pistons and Bulls
Rodman and O’Neal played together against the latter part of the 1998-99 season, when Rodman played 23 games for the Lakers.
In those 23 games, Rodman averaged 2.1 points and 11.2 rebounds.
After his stint with the Lakers, Rodman went on to play for his hometown Dallas Mavericks. He would play in just 12 games and it would be the last games of his NBA career.

There may be some credibility in O’Neal’s comments, as Rodman was known for his reckless behavior off the field throughout his Hall of Fame career.
Nevertheless, his amazing recovery ability always spoke for itself as Rodman was a crucial part of five winning teams in the NBA Finals.
He also won a slew of other NBA honors during his years with the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls.
