Shaq Barrett has vowed to give wife Jordanna a ‘great and memorable’ Mother’s Day in a poignant social media post just weeks after the death of their two-year-old daughter.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers player and his wife lost their daughter Arrayah in late April when she drowned in a swimming pool in a tragic accident.

Barrett wrote on Instagram on Sunday, “Happy Mother’s Day beautiful. We all love you so much and will do our best to make your day wonderful and memorable.”

Earlier this week, Barrett opened up about his daughter’s passing, writing alongside a clip of her, “I miss you sooo little girl. I love you, please watch over us.’

Police responded to a call from a child who fell into a swimming pool around 9:30 a.m. Sunday, April 30, in the Beach Park area of ​​Tampa, the Tampa Police Department said.

Jordanna shared a heartbreaking post on Instagram in tribute to her daughter on May 3, writing an emotional statement alongside a photo of Arrayah beaming on her recent birthday.
