Shannon Sharpe ‘will be on First Take twice a week with Stephen A. Smith’
Shannon Sharpe was always going to impress in his post-FS1 career and he couldn’t have gotten much bigger to begin with.
Rumors have been circulating for weeks that Sharpe, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, would join Skip Bayless’ former debating partner Stephen A. Smith.
Now, according to the New York Postthat’s an imminent reality with the former Broncos legend set to join ESPN’s Take first biweekly.
It is undoubtedly another blow to Bayless that Sharpe lost in June amid escalating tensions that had been going on for months.
For Sharpe to join Bayless’ direct rival Undisputed is a double blow despite new own additions.

FS1 will not only have to contend with the popularity of Smith – who preceded First Take Undisputed in every way — but Sharpe’s loyal followers will tune in to the four-letter network rather than the LA-based debate show.
