Shannon Sharpe tries to laugh off the embarrassment he feels over accidentally streaming a video of himself having sex as he invites Snoop Dogg, Cam Newton and Kai Cenat onto his podcast ‘Nightcap’ with Chad Johnson to critique him.
On Wednesday, fans of the NFL Hall of Famer and sportscaster were stunned when footage of a man and a woman having sex was livestreamed on his Instagram, but no one was in the picture.
Sharpe initially claimed he had been hacked, but later admitted that this was not the case and that the male voice in the video was indeed himself.
Now he is at least getting something positive out of the situation, because on Thursday evening he invited a large number of people to his podcast to talk about the ordeal.
Snoop Dogg was especially excited about ‘Uncle Shannon’ after joining the stream.

Sharpe accidentally went live on Instagram on Wednesday morning while having sex
“Everybody has sex, everybody indulges in it. It’s just that yours was broadcast to the whole world, baby,” he cracked.
Sharpe then asked the rapper if he believed he would survive the ordeal.
“There will be more women lining up to see you than anything else,” he replied.
Former NFL quarterback Cam Newton was also in attendance at the stream and hilariously put Sharpe through a mock trial by asking him questions about the situation.
At one point, Newton asked him how he wanted to be addressed during the mock trial. He said he wouldn’t call him “daddy,” as the woman in the sex tape did.
Streamer Kai Cenat was also a guest on the podcast. He started his performance with the sarcastic words “well, well, well,” before calling the former tight end a “freak.”

Comedian Godfrey also ridiculed Sharpe by posing as Sharpe during the intimate moment and pointing his camera at the floor, just like he did during the now infamous livestream.
Sharpe is clearly trying to ignore the incident, but admitted earlier in his podcast that he cried immediately after the event.
“I’m embarrassed for a number of reasons,” he said. “People count on Shannon to be professional, even when I’m behind closed doors,” Sharpe said.
“I’m very disappointed in myself, not in the act. There are millions and billions of people of consenting age who participate in activities.”
On Thursday night he added: ‘My grandpa always said, ‘Son, if you screw up, you clean it up. It’s my fault, I have to own up to it, I have to stand up for it… it was an honest mistake.’
Yet Sharpe still finds a way to cash in on his mistake.
He’s promoting a male enhancement product called Ro Sparks. He says it’s “a long-term treatment in a new sublingual form that gets into the bloodstream faster, so you can be more spontaneous.”
Ultimately, Snoop Dogg feels his friend has nothing to feel guilty about.
“You’re not married, you have the right to do what you want, when you want, how you want.” “So there was no reason to apologize.”
