Shannon Sharpe denies streaming sex video live on his Instagram and insists he was hacked
- A video of an apparent sex act was livestreamed on Sharpe’s Instagram
- A man and a woman can be heard getting intimate, but no one’s face is visible
Shannon Sharpe claims his Instagram account was hacked after a sex act was livestreamed on the account on Wednesday.
In the images, which have since appeared on X, no one’s face can be seen, but it appears to show a man and a woman becoming intimate with each other.
The woman can be heard moaning throughout the video, while at other points she appears to say the name Shannon.
However, the camera was pointed at the ground for most of the clip, and the former NFL star stated that he had been hacked.
“Please be advised my @shannonsharpe84 Instagram was hacked this morning. My team and I are working hard to resolve this — UNC,” Sharpe posted on his Instagram Story before deleting his post.

No one’s face was visible in the video and it was focused mainly on the ground.
A screenshot from Instagram Live shows that at one point, more than 6,500 people were watching the video simultaneously.
Sharpe, 56, has never been married and explained in an episode of his Cor Shay Shay podcast from last year.
“I wish I had gotten married earlier in my career, but my career was the most important thing,” he told Chad Johnson. “So I sucked. I was a terrible father, I was probably a terrible brother, terrible son — I was definitely a terrible friend. Because football was the most important thing.
“I was completely obsessed with it because I wanted to free my grandmother and my family from the circumstances that they would now find themselves in.”
‘…A lot of women said they would be happy to be number 2 in football. But when it came down to it and they saw how committed I was to it, they couldn’t do it.’
Sharpe went on to say that he is now looking for someone with whom he can share his success and wealth.
