Shannon Sharpe has blamed LeBron James for the Lakers’ fourth loss in the new NBA season.
Los Angeles stuttered to their fourth straight loss, this time at the Mile High City, 110-99 against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.
The Lakers were tied in the half with the home side, but failed in the third, resulting in a 32-17 outscore.
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers could hardly have had a worse start to the season
Sharpe, often a cheerleader for LeBron James, was critical of The King’s performance in Denver, despite Russell Westbrook’s absence with a hamstring injury.
“They’re a bad team with or without Russ,” Sharpe said on Thursday’s episode of FS1’s Undisputed. “They probably could have shot worse… last night was just pathetic.
“I am very disappointed with LeBron because LeBron took his first shot with 1.8 seconds left in the first quarter.
“Source wasn’t aggressive, that game was very winnable last night…Skip it badly and it will get worse.”

James scored just 19 points, his lowest tally of the season, and converted eight times as the Los Angeles season hit another low.
“LeBron was horrible last night,” Sharpe continued. “There’s no other way around it, there’s no way to cover it up, he was terrible and this one is on him.
“Lakers are garbage men, there’s no getting around that. They are bad, terrible.’
Skip Bayless couldn’t help but criticize James after his error-ridden night at Mile High
Skip Bayless gleefully added more LeBron critique to the discussion, calling the four-time NBA champion “garbage.”
“Your husband was a renegade last night,” Bayless told Sharpe. “Son, Father Time kicked his tail last night, didn’t he?”
Los Angeles could once again be on a scoreless trajectory with a challenging schedule.
They then take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night in Minneapolis.
